Enterprise architecture-based ISA model development for ICT benchmarking in construction-case study

<span>Building on a coincided in progress paper, this paper constructs and evaluate an information systems architecture (ISA) model for the Bahraini architecture, engineering construction (AEC) sector, from lens of enterprise (EA). This acts as communication technology (ICT) barometer tool to identify benchmark ICT’s gaps, duplicative levels, future investments. Following design science research, throughout utilization tailored version open group architectural framework (TOGAF), embedded into rigorous case study approach, construction, testing, evaluation conceptual ISA is approached ICT measurement. Empirically, revealed appropriateness ability availability 28 groups 38 individual applications AEC sector them score average 18.5% against 17 countries that scored 18.6%.</span>
